And somewhere in all of it, wanting something for yourself started to feel indulgent.
one woman, two identities
There are two of you, and both of them want all of it.
You go to work and keep your kids out of the conversation. You come home and mother like you don't have a job.
Both versions of you ask for one hundred percent. There isn't two hundred percent of you.
You were handed a standard for mothering and a standard for working that were each built for a woman doing only one of them. Then you were expected to meet both, and to make it look easy.
The guilt belongs to the standard. Not to you.
It doesn't look the same on everyone.
Some women keep motherhood out of work entirely. Some do the opposite and never let the professional part inside the house. Some run both at full volume and pay for it in a way that has nothing to do with sleep.
You've built a version of this. It has a shape, an identity, and the shape determines what it takes from you.
Eight questions, about three minutes. You'll find out which one is yours and what it's been costing you.
WHAT IS YOUR QUIET COST?
Eight questions, about three minutes. You'll get a read on what you built and what it's been costing.
ASSESS YOUR QUIET COST
Professional coach for working mothers, mom of three boys. MSW, ICF-certified NLP somatic coach.
I left home at the door for years. I'm not observing this from outside it.
Three or six months.
Every other week, with Voxer access in between so the work happens when the real moments do. We start with who you are underneath everything you carry, and everything else moves from there.
You've been circling this for a while and you're ready to actually do it.
Ninety minutes, once.
We look at what you're carrying and where it's running you instead of the other way around. You leave with one specific thing that changes what next week costs you.
You know something has to shift and you want to move on it now.

A seven-week group.
A seven-week group for working mothers, run in small cohorts. The founding cohort is forming now.
You'd rather do this alongside other women who don't need it explained to them.
Not sure which one? That's what the introduction call is for. Thirty minutes, no pitch, and if I'm not the right coach for what you need I'll say so and point you toward who is.
Every week, I send out a note about something real, a story, a reframe, a permission slip, for high-achieving women who are quietly wondering who they are outside of everything they carry.
No fluff. No hustle. Just the conversation you didn't know you needed.
If I'm not the right coach for what you need, I'll say so.
